Spring is FINALLY around the corner. I can feel it in my bones! Our winters in North Dakota are long and harsh, but before we know it the snow will melt, and we will see those beautiful little green sprouts sticking up out of the ground.I love Easter. It is a time of things made new! I always feel like its a good time to purge and freshen up the décor.
This year I decided that I wanted everything to be clean and simple. I also wanted to use things I already had and spare my budget from taking a hit.
The shelf in the above picture is above my sofa. We do not have a mantel so this kind of takes its place.
I hung my buffalo print on the wood this time, instead of having it sitting on the shelf. The gold jars and the Easter egg garlands are from the Dollar Tree. I bought the jars around Christmas time. The brass bunny is one I picked up at a thrift store a few years ago and the pink magnolias I purchased for a baby shower last year. I only spent $2 for this spring refresh!
I wanted that same clean simple look for our small dining table. I found this cute basket and added Spanish moss, eggs from the DT, and a rabbit I picked up at Hobby Lobby a few years ago.

You can bring new life to your décor by shopping around in your own house and thinking outside of the box a little!
